The YMCA of Beaufort County, located at 1801 Richmond Ave., will host its annual Exercise-A-Thon Saturday, June 1, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Featuring a variety of classes including spinning, zumba, kickboxing, tabata, pilates and yoga, the event supports the Y’s Annual Scholarship Campaign efforts, which are designed to offer discounted programs and memberships to individuals and families in need. A $10 minimum donation per person is requested. For more information or to reserve a spin bike, contact 843-522-9622. YMCA membership is not required. Individuals can participate in any and all offerings and can make a donation in any amount they choose above the $10 minimum. All participants will be entered to win prizes and refreshments will be provided. Nutrition coaching, calorie burning information and myofascial release demonstrations will be offered.
