When this Yellow Rat Snake visited Ron Callari’s backyard in Habersham last week, he asked his next-door neighbors if he was friend or foe? The response was unquestionably “friend,” who is a nonvenomous constrictor that prefers a diet of rodents and their young. Adults are yellow with dark stripes, and juveniles are gray with blotches.
