• Friday, 1/30 – BA’s Homecoming Basketball Games! Games begin at 4 p.m. with the JV Girls, then 5 p.m. JV Boys, 6 p.m. Varsity Girls, and 7pm Varsity Boys. Students in Mrs. Patel’s sixth grade science class at Beaufort Academy celebrated the end of their unit with an edible cell party. At home, students cooked up organelles and shared the deliciousness with the class. Students voted for most creative, most disgusting & most attractive! Congratulations to the Beaufort Academy Math Team, who competed last week at the SCISA Upper School Math Meet! The team took 2nd place overall, and individually Ben Hetherington took 4th place overall. Beaufort Academy students in grades 3-8 competed in the SCISA Regional Spelling Bee and did a phenomenal job. BA came in 3rd place overall, and individual top finishers included: 4th grader Ledare Pingree (1st place and is headed to the State Spelling Bee in February), 7th grader Maris Staley (3rd place), and 3rd grader Whit Suber (4th place).
