Three dozen volunteers converged onto the grounds of Carteret Street United Methodist Church on
Sunday, Sept. 25, to help unload a tractor trailer full of 44,000 pounds of pumpkins grown in
Farmington, N.M., through an agreement with the Navajo Nation, that will be used in the church’s
27th annual Pumpkin Patch. The patch will be open from Sunday through Friday noon until 6 p.m.
and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
