William Riski captured this image of Comet Neowise streaking across the sky at 9:35 p.m. on Friday, July 17 from the short bridge between Dataw and Oak Islands. Riski used an Olympus OM-D E-M5 II with lens M-Zuiko 25mm f1.8, ISO 1000, tripod and a 6-second exposure. “Hard to see with the naked eye, but the camera didn’t blink for 6 seconds and caught it fine,” Riski said.
