Habersham’s Ron Callari snapped this photo of a Confederate rose. For those who don’t know about the Confederate rose, they grow in South Carolina, and according to legend, when a Confederate soldier fell in battle near one of these white roses, the flowers turned pink, then red, and then finally dropped off when the soldier died.
